Hatch Red Chile Sangria
This spicy, southwest-style sangria is perfect for warm, sunny days out on the patio with good food and friends! |
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Hatch Red Chile Wine • 1 bottle red table wine of your choice • 1 cup brandy • 1/2 jalapeño, seeds and veins removed • 1/2 cup triple sec • 1 cup orange juice • 1 cup pomegranate juice • 1/2 cup simple syrup, or more to-taste (simple syrup is equal parts sugar & water, heated until sugar dissolves) • Orange slices • Apple slices • Blackberries • Pomegranate arils PREPARATION Mix all ingredients together and let stand in a tightly sealed container or pitcher for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator before serving. Serve as is, or over ice! Goes well with southwest cuisine! |
